Breaking Through

Whether in the household or in the workplace, leaders are tasked with making important decisions and are looked to for guidance. A good leader leads with the utmost integrity, honesty, respect, courage, confidence, responsibility and wisdom.

Whether you wear the title of a leadership position or not, you can still lead. Follow these steps to lead:

1) Contribute to solving problems. Know the problem and eliminate the noise (unimportant information). Leverage skills, abilities, knowledge and experience of yourself and your team to arrive at a solution. Continue reading

Building a business has been on the forefront of my mind for a number of years. With those years, I have grown in maturity and in knowledge, but I have also experienced the pain of not seeing a business come to fruition. I would set goals for my success, personal development and prayed about it everyday. I read great books and listened to motivational speakers, but the lack of visible progress got discouraging. So often in life and in business, we can get frustrated, stressed, and impatient when things don’t go the way we want or expect. So impatient that we decide to give up on the vision and dreams that were imagined at the beginning of the journey. Continue reading

Faith and Action … best answer I have ever heard. I agree wholeheartedly. Without Faith, why do anything? If there is no action, why have Faith?

If I don’t have enough Faith to Act on my Faith, then what is the purpose of my Faith? Make me feel good? haha

Faith is the most expensive luxury in this world, because the cost of Faith is an entire life, which is an entire existence, because if I or You didn’t exist, existence would end, or at least our perspective of it would. Continue reading

Waking up this morning I felt sluggish and unmotivated to get out of bed and go to work. Do you ever have that feeling? The feeling of weekends, holidays and vacations just aren’t long enough? As I grow older I find myself feeling this way more and more. I’m not going to pretend that I am always excited to go to work each morning. Though I try to stay positive and maintain an attitude of gratitude, there are moments when I just can’t “fake the funk.”
